WHICH BINDER TO CHOOSE for NARUTO CARDS?
What size? How many cards? How many slots do you need? What types of binders are there? Our recommendations!

Which album for your Naruto cards should you choose? It's a dilemma, and often a compromise, that troubles many beginning collectors. Today we'll clear up all the doubts, short and simple!
FIRST OF ALL, HOW MANY SLOTS DO WE NEED?
It all depends on whether you're collecting a COMPLETE SET or a MASTER SET. I explained the difference in this video, where you can also see the hunt for the last cards and a complete master set: https://youtu.be/qmpNYQovxEE?si=bfvX4U8gkjn9SBm1
In the shortest terms - a complete set means every card "number" regardless of version, while a master set means all card numbers in all possible versions. Whether you count promo cards is up to you. Your binder, your rules!
So, quick math:
COMPLETE SET
Common / Uncommon = 103
+Rare = 26
+Rare Art = 26
+Secret = 10
-----------------------
Total: 165 slots
MASTER SET (without promo / mythos cards)
Common / Uncommon x3 versions = 103x3 = 309
+Rare = 26
+Rare Art = 26
+Secret = 10
-----------------------
Total: 371 slots (+ possibly extra ones for promo cards)
In both cases, it's worth reserving extra slots at the end, e.g. for duplicates of your most expensive cards.
WHAT TYPES OF ALBUMS ARE THERE?
One could go on about this almost forever, but in the shortest terms:
-An album can have integrated pages or use rings.
-Binders with integrated pages are slimmer and look better, but hold fewer cards
-Ring binders hold more cards and let you add pages, but are bulkier
-IMPORTANT! Ring types are the "O" ring and the "D" ring (photos below)
-The "D" type safely holds more pages but the binder is thicker. Cards are safer in it - the vertical ring shape reduces the risk of bending cards on the inner side of the album
-The "O" type holds fewer pages and there is a potential risk of bending cards IF you cram too many pages into it. You need to keep an eye on that
-There are 2 most popular pocket layouts. The basic 3x3 (9 cards per page) or the bigger 3x4 (12 cards per page). Photos below
-3x3 pages make a neater, narrower album with fewer cards
-3x4 pages make a wider album, harder to fit into a backpack, with more cards
-Pages can be top loaded or side loaded. Side loaded ones are definitely better. They reduce the risk of cards falling out.

As you can see, it all comes down to your collecting preferences, but now you know what to look for.
WHICH ALBUMS TO AVOID? (not recommended)
-The original Naruto Mythos binder. Why? It's of very poor quality, cards fall out and a master set doesn't fit. Buy it only as a token for your collection, certainly not for your precious cards.
-Albums from Temu/Ali - their price is often tempting, but the quality is a lottery. As usual - everything looks great in the photos, but in real life it's a different story.
WHAT ARE OUR RECOMMENDATIONS?
As I mentioned - it all depends on how many cards you want to collect and what compromises you're ready to make. There is no universally good solution and there will always be pros and cons. My "compromise" was choosing an album with "O" rings instead of "D", so when adding pages and cards I kept checking the ones close to the rings to make sure they weren't bending. Luckily, with a master set and plenty of headroom... everything is OK! So I can recommend with a clear conscience what I chose myself.
My binder, "O" rings, slim version, around 80-100 PLN
Extra side-loaded pages with black backing (you need 2 sets), price ~20 PLN / set:
This setup, totalling 100-120 PLN, easily fits a master set with plenty of slots to spare, and if you don't overstuff it, your cards will be safe. The binder is really neat and slips into a backpack with ease; it doesn't look like an accountant's document folder, which for me is a huge plus. Visually 10/10. Quality-wise it's also VERY well made and I'm very happy with it, so I recommend it with a clear conscience.
Downsides? It only comes in black, and the price, but... If you own expensive cards, in my opinion it's better to invest in a better album than to buy cheap stuff from Temu or Ali. Believe me - there are even more expensive ones out there, so this really isn't excessive.
