How it works

    Frame the card on screen. The app uses your phone's rear camera.

    2. Capture

    Tap "Capture" or enable Auto mode to grab a frame every ~2 seconds.

    Tap the best-confidence match, choose variant/condition/language, and add to your collection.

Requirements

  • ●Discord — sign-in required so we can save the card to your collection
  • ●HTTPS — browsers allow camera only on secure pages (✓ we have it)
  • ●Modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari iOS 14+
  • ●Internet on first run (~12 MB of OCR language data, cached forever)

On mobile

  • 📱Open the site in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iOS) — other browsers may block camera access
  • 🔐After tapping "Start camera", allow camera access when the browser prompts
  • 💡Scan in good light, on a plain background — glossy cards may glare
  • 📷Portrait mode, card centered in the guide frame — best results

Privacy

Tesseract.js recognizes text inside your browser — no image is ever uploaded to our server. We only send the extracted text (name, number, set code) plus the OCR confidence. Card thumbnails appear only inside your own scan history.
